The Empath
- THAT'S WHY BONES IS THE BEST, YOU GUYS. omg. Bones! *flail* I do love guys with absolutely zero sense of self-preservation.
- Really, McCoy + Hypospray is my OTP. How the hell did Spock not see that coming?
- Also, Kirk's line: "They say offense is the best defense. Well, I aim to misbehave" Shit, I forgot what he said. Something about offending. It was cool.
- So, what else did this episode have? Bad acting, Shatner...Shatnering in slow motion, lame special effects, interpretive dance... I've been trying to figure out what about Gem annoyed me. I think it was her outfit, coupled with her movements. She reminded me of a big butterfly.
- And man, those aliens were ASSHOLES. And not just because they beat the shit out of Kirk and McCoy. They can save Gem's entire race, but they won't unless she sacrifices her life for someone she doesn't even know? Wtf?
- How come Kirk got tortured with his shirt off, but McCoy kept his on? Not that I want to see De Kelley's chest, but... Huh? Was it in Shatner's contract that he gets to show off his chest every other episode?
- The episode got cut off in the last few seconds, so I've no idea what the Obligatory Closing Banter was about. Since they were all back on the ship by that time, I'm not overly concerned.

- Hoyt/Jessica! Someone on my flist called that at the end of the last season, and you get a gold star. I really thought she was going to bite him, but no, she just wanted to make out. Dude, how old is she? Sixteen? Um, Hoyt?
- Ack, Sam! Swim for your life, baby!!!!
- I ♥ Pam and her fabulous pumps.
- Oh, Lafayette. They didn't make him a vampire! I'm almost disappointed. He'd have been badass with super powers. Oh, Lafayette. I hope he calls Tara and she swings by to give him some TLC.
- I really, really shouldn't eat while I watch this show. YUCK.
- Hmm, Marianne. We've got pigs. We've got sex. We've got goddess imagery, a vaguely Grecian look to her dress, and she can cause people to change shape. I wonder if she's Circe. Or modeled on Circe.
- Minotaurs? WHAT.
- I love my crazy insane show, I really do.
