icon not really appropriate, but it's the only Trek-related one I have
I don't always agree with Manohla Dargis, but I'm kind of squeeful after reading her positive review of the new Star Trek film. Eeee, I want it to be good! I haven't been an active Trek fan in a long, long time; it's a hat I could wear again.
Stuff I still have to do before I'm on vacation*:
- final Intro to Research Methods class (tonight)
- give power point presentation in aforementioned class (tonight)
- Library Management take-home exam (half-finished, due tomorrow morning - will be done tonight)
- Intro to Library & Information Science final paper (half-finished, due Monday morning, will be done...Sunday night, most likely)
- 20-page (give or take) research proposal for Intro to Research Methods (due the 18th, will - probably - be done by the 14th)
* It's a vacation in that I'm off from school. I have to find a job/internship, preferably in a library or archive.
My Michigan tickets arrived yesterday. *flutters them* I do believe the last time an airline sent me real tickets was back in 2003, when I was leaving Japan. I prefer real tickets, mostly because they're more durable than those flimsy boarding passes. (I paste them in my diary.) Also, since I print out at least one copy of my e-ticket, paper really isn't being saved.
