"The jump of frog symbolizes thirst of flying.
As genetic magic dream, about that far time,
when frogs were the ANGELS."

I love frogs!!! And isn't it wonderful what random beautiful things people do with their time. This post makes me so happy.

I had a problem with this, at first. Surely the frogs weren't up for this challenge...hopping into M&M's yard without a CLUE as to what was about to happen next. Were they harmed? No. Uncomfortable? maybe. What an experience for them though, yes? I think the concept of 'living' jewelry is sort of interesting....like Jared Gold's living giant Madagascar hissing cockroach brooch on a leash....but I dont think the cockroachs enjoy THAT at ALL!

Wonderful things. And the interview is pitched perfectly with flawless, if bizarre, logic.

The interview, translated from the Russian, has a sort of "bjork" thing going on, dont you think? I have russian posts on my flist...and every-so I translate them...and they become so distjointed & lyrical ...love it.

You're right, very Bjork. Automatic translators have, for me, added a great deal of accidental poetry to my life. I've even taken occasionally to translating passages from English, to other randomly chosen languages, and back again just to achieve just the effect you describe ("disjointed & lyrical")!

The frog in the sixth picture has that petulant cat look going on. Like, "Oh man, here we go again. The stupid human wants to make me into Flash Gordon. God, I hope she hurries up this timeFUCKING RIBBIT!"

I've had a number of girlfriends I've felt this way about. I'm still scarred from it.
