Why does it always feel like I'm getting the short end of the stick?
Seriously, it takes my boss a full year and a half to give me a raise, and then he tells me (in the same breath), that he's going to expect me to take on more responsibility: ie: bend over a bit further..
On top of the rent increase this year, and the bus fare increase, I've got a loan payment coming due at the beginning of next year, and no more forebearance time to put it on..and the boss thinks he's giving me a great deal..but I can't call in sick (because he never has anybody to cover for me.) And he makes me feel like shit when I do, but anyone else calls in sick, it's alright, we'll make do.. because "Frankie can handle it."
Oh yeah.. so, the bus service raised their fees this year, but they're cutting services left and right. The bus I catch (which takes me directly from work to home, so I don't have to transfer with a bunch of groceries in hand) is getting cancelled first of the month.. and.. they removed the bus shelter that sat at the end of my block, so now when it pours, I'm going to get soaked with freezing rain at 4:30 in the fucking morning...WANKERS!
