And sadly, before tonight, the writer of this was probably one of the gazillion people who, when we left the state and were asked where we were from, and we replied "West Virginia," would say, "Oh, Virginia!"
No, that West was not just an adjective. It was part of that proper noun. Did you learn geography in elementary school? And you're making fun of me?
