People make Harry into one of those ott outcasts in a lot of Harry/Voldemort fics to justify his turning Dark/to Voldemort/etc and I absolutely hate it. I never thought I'd see it in original fiction, though....>P

Ha! Somehow I couldn't see him turning into the next Dark Lord. There are lots of other ways you could get to Harry/Voldemort! Long ago I read a great one where they (Voldemort and Snape) kidnapped him as an infant and raised him, grooming him for it.

Yeah, I feel like Harry has too strong of a sense of justice for that. :p

I got an itch to read it again, so I looked for the link last night. I checked my HP recs page (now 12 years since the last time I updated it, haha), but couldn't find anything that matched that description. It sure was a good story though... If I can find it again, I'll let you know!
