This sounds like an interesting idea, but getting the same story three times definitely does seem like overkill. It seems like something that goes final draft - commentary - original draft with edits (or a taste of it, as you suggest) would be more than sufficient.

The cover is really awesome, though!

Glad you liked it! I used a bigger image of the cover than I usually would, so the details could be seen. It really is a nice cover.

Agreed, three versions of the same story was overkill for sure. If I hadn't read one of the stories (the longest one!) previously, ... well, it still wouldn't be worth $10, but somewhat closer.

It sounds interesting, but perhaps less is more?

Yes, to both. Interesting, but less would be more, then there would be room for more stories!

yeah, I mean unless you are hardcore about one of the authors that sounds off.

Yeah. I really like one of them (and after this book, like them all), but reading a whole first draft? And then the whole edited version? Way too much.

I can see how seeing the whole editing process can be very valuable, but unless it was for a very iconic story or something I already had a lot of interest in, I wouldn't bother either. It's a very cool concept, though!

Yeah, it was a good idea, just overkill. A couple pages from each story would have been much better.
