Many folks think reality TV is the worst stuff on television, and in some cases I don't disagree. I watch (in my opinion), the "better" stuff. Social/game ones (Big Brother, Survivor) and any cooking ones I can get my hands on (though I avoid ones where people get screamed at and endlessly insulted). Types targeted towards younger people (Jersey Shore) and "romance" ones (The Bachelor) are the sort I avoid.
I would like to say I've never seen an episode of the ones like Jersey Shore, but unfortunately once I was stuck in a repair shop getting my car looked at, and they had it on TV. Turns out my opinion of the show had been correct: Painfully, painfully bad show about the most awful, self-centered, uninteresting people on the planet.
However, I've found a type of romance reality TV I'd gleefully watch:
The Bachelor: the first gay bachelor. (Okay, to be perfectly honest, I'd watch any reality show hosted by George Takei!)
Annoyingly I can't embed it, so you'll have to
click here to watch it instead. How 2002!
Edit: Bonus video, since I couldn't embed the above one. How to draw a butt in five lines! (Beware: Once you watch this video, you'll start drawing butts on everything!) Also, work safe (unless a five-line sketch butt would be considered NES at your place of employment).
