The ability to rewind if you miss something is a deal-breaker when it comes to going to movies.

That too! I looked away and missed what seemed an important scene (things were moving in slow motion when I glanced back), so I was able to skip back a moment and see what I missed.

IIRC, all the slash I remember coming out of Pacific Rim /was/ for the science dudes.

I still need to see Episode 3, but I like everyone but the male lead and Skye, but Skye's story at least has potential.

I'm just disappointed that Joss seems to have missed the mark so very, very badly (so far) with his male lead.

Ah, yeah, I can kind of see it for the science dudes. They were odd, but quite cute together.

Episode 3 goes into Skye's background/story more, but it did nothing at all for me.
