Sekret by Lindsay Smith.
(Book received for free for review from Macmillan Publishing Group.)

Can you get an adobe reader for the ipad or is that only for pdfs?

pdfs can be read on them, but the problem is this is a protected one, so you can't open it with the adobe reader. If there's a way to open it on an ipad without doing unintended things to it first, I haven't found it yet!

I'll let you know :) I've read plenty of shitty romance novels and somehow enjoyed them so I am sure if you liked this I will too lol

Ah good! You'll have to let me know if this is just a typical romance book -- maybe I'm susceptible to those. :P

A little bit of Googling seems to indicate that an ACSM file is just like a digital key for Adobe Digital Editions to find the actual ebook on their servers. So maybe you can use ADE to get the ebook and then transfer that your reader?

Thanks for the link, that was interesting to read! I didn't pay for the book, so I'm not sure if that would still be legal or not...

Unrelated: I'm about to send you a PM!

I'd be interested in reading it, although her color description of the KGB uniform is off to me (/geek). I had no idea this extension even existed. Too many proprietary formats! Grrr!
