More WoW! And zzzz! And TV!
Sleepy sleepy. Cat decided to sleep between my legs last night, which meant I couldn't roll over or anything. Didn't sleep well. zzzzzz
But! Yay RP! And yay PvP! Well mostly yay!
RP rocked! I got into the middle of a server-wide plot (which made me eek at being the center of attention, but I got to meet a lot of new people to RP with and made a new IC friend!), and it worked out! I'm just trying to figure out the long-term effects of such major wounds on my character. Hello having all the flesh removed from his legs and then having the bones crushed! Oh and one hand crushed into mush and the other one badly wounded. Poor rogue, there goes all his DEX!
PvP was fun and annoying. We went 0/10 on runs before I gave up, but like I had said, I still have fun when I lose... other than when the other people are asshole. The battleground is simple: There are six bases. Capture and hold as many as you can. Some bases are easier for one side or the other to hold (depending on location). It's really, really, really not complex at all... yet the fricking idiots on my team were just 100% unable to grasp the idea of it today and ignored all else just to try to take and hold the hardest base... thus we lost ten times in a row. Worst is that they argued that holding this one base was better than holding multiple other ones, which is clearly and totally wrong. Arg!
Anyway, the game made me stop PvPing! There's a cap on the marks of honor (per BG) that you can hold, and I hit it. Blah! 100 is a fricking low cap. :/ They mail you any over that... but the mail expires in 24 hours. So I had to go spend some, which showed me another issue with leveling through BGs only: No FPs! So I ran across the world, picking up missing FPs on the way, to get to the vendor. Now I have two rocking blues waiting for me at 28! And a crapton (70) marks of honor left.
TV: I'm not sure how a TV show generally annoys me but sometimes amuses me as well. I hate (HATE HATE HATE) The Office... though sometimes it makes me laugh. Humor based on "he's so stupid it's funny" just generally doesn't work for me, and that's the central theme of The Office so far.
Three eps of The Office sure did make Merlin seem like a smarter show though! I enjoyed the one ep I watched of it after that. (Lancelot helped that a hell of a lot. Oh My God. Hottest man ever! *drools*) The show sure does amuse me though: Man sees woman, man wants woman. Woman sees man, wants him too. They draw near, music swells... and no kiss! Ha ha ha, so very slashly! So amusing!
