Am I crazy or is it just my dreams
Lately I've had some of the most fucked up dreams. I don't mean kinda messed up, no I'm talking Clive Barker levels of fucked up. I'm thinking this stuff is great material for some of my short stories but still disturbing just the same. For instance one deal with a town that was protected from the outside world of these certain types of demons. They were protected by these Blood Mages, that once every 10 years would choose a 9 yr old kid from the town to be the new vessel of some...thing. The honor was great but the way the right kid was chosen was gory as hell. Basically in this arena there were 5 cells...almost like cages/rooms and this monster that has a chain with a harpoon on it's tongue would then go from room to room ripping out the hearts of these kids. THEN ONE of these kids would survive the right one chosen and could live w/o a heart. He was then never seen or hear from again and dragged by these dark maidens to this tower. Freaky freaky shit. I'm not even gonna go into another one. Maybe I've been playing to much WoW.
