fucked up dream
I had this crazy messed up dream this morning.
Started out with all of us being back in school. normal chitchat, walking to classes, going to lockers, all that jazz. we were getting ready to switch semesters and were clearing out our gym lockers. I shared a locker with Jessica and she was always the first one there and always had the locker open so i didnt bother to learn the combination. Well this day she wasn't there. Which was odd cause she NEVER missed class. So i had to have the teacher come open our locker and all of her stuff was still there. SO i threw everything in a bag and was just going to run it to her house for her. As i was packing all our stuff up, i noticed that the teacher had to open a couple other lockers cause the girls weren't there.
~DREAM SHIFT~
The next thing i know is im on this porch looking around and all i see is this big pond/lake type deal and deserted sandy, grassy beach. I knocked on the door, somehow knowing both the girls were in there and the older guy opened the door. He kind of reminded me of my sister's boyfriend, but it wasn't him.
I saw Jessica peeking out from behind him and he invited me in. (The house was actually our place in Saginaw so i knew my way around it.) I gave jess her bag of stuff and asked why she wasn't in class. She looked a little embarrassed and excused herself. I was alone in the living room and saw on the tv some program that had one of those underwater cameras and was taking footage of some crocodile/alligator creature swimming around under water. I watched as a handful swam around the camera and it gave me goosebumps. The camera pulled back and as i watched, about a hundred more of the creatures started moving around the camera. My skin crawled. sea monsters.. y'know..
SO the guy comes out and starts talking about how he had installed a free floating camera in the lake and this was actual real time footage from the lake right outside. IT WAS FUCKING DEEEEEEP!!!! thinking about it made my skin crawl even more and i shuddered. He smiled and asked if i wanted something to drink. I nodded and asked for some ice water. As he went to get that, i walked over to the bathroom. I stopped short because i heard Jessica and my other friend Kayla ( the other girl who was gone earlier) talking quietly in the room right next to me. The door was open a sliver so i peeked in and saw them both changing. They were pulling on some shorts, but crisscrossing their bodies was this wide black band. It looked almost like wide elastic. At the meeting of the bands, right above their tailbones was a...port? Like a memory card port. They were whispering to each other, Kayla sounded annoyed and Jessica sounded worried.
"why is she here?"
"she was just dropping off some stuff from class, its not like she knew"
" we can't have her here, HE's going to get pissed cause she stopped by"
"i know"
"she needs to go, like now"
"i know, but if i tell her straight up she has to leave, she'll only have more questions"
"well, we won't be able to do anything while she's here, and we won't be able to work on losing the weight. And i want to drop these pounds soon so HE will be happy with us"
I went into the bathroom and washed my hands and splashed some water on my face. What the hell were they talking about.
When i came back into the living room, the guy had my water and had asked me to pack some stuff in a cooler for him while he went to go get Jessica and Kayla. I could hear whispering and as i finished packing they all came out and joined me in the living room.
Everyone acted like nothing was off and the guy kept asking me if i needed anything. I had been there chatting with the girls for about an hour and figured i needed to get home.
I was starting to get a gross feeling in my stomach and when i got up to leave, the man grabbed my arm. Once more he asked if there was anything he could get me.. I looked at his arm and pulled away and shook my head. I glanced over at the girls and they were looking everywhere but me. The guy then informed me that i wasn't allowed to leave. I had seen too much and wasn't supposed to be there to begin with. I started to walk toward the kitchen and the floor was gone. it had been replaced with a metal grid floor and there were flames shooting up. it looked almost like a stove top.
"I'm deeply sorry, but i can't let you leave" Said the man. " I have worked hard with these two and i don't need anyone bringing up questions until this project is finished. I'll do my best to keep you comfortable, but for now, you'll help with the house work and cleaning."
Jess game me a small smile. "Its not so bad... here, come with us and i'll fill you in on what you need to know"
"wait, here" the man gave me an armlet to wear. "i need you to wear this"
I was pretty much in tears. i didnt understand what was going on but Jess explained a little.
Her and Kayla had these ports installed as an experiment. They put a memory card in every morning and it monitored EVERY part of their life. This helped them figure out what made them burn the most calories and if anything was unhealthy or keeping them from burning calories. They were confined to the house, unless the guy was there, then they could go outside. they did some training in gym in the other room and did swimming in the lake in cages.
