jaejoong was on a roll.
*
"your fly's open," he announced to junsu just as the younger was about to take a seat for a press conference.
alarmed, junsu quickly checked his pants, praying that nobody else saw.
"made you look," jaejoong hid a smile behind his hand, but couldn't hide the mischief dancing in his eyes.
junsu growled, but was distracted by the manager, who told him to sit down.
*
later, he made yunho write a letter to a non-existent fan (oh, how difficult it was to suppress the giggles bubbling up my throat as yunho signed the paper with a flourish!), and then he told yoochun that some girls were waiting for him in the lounge (yoochun, decidedly dashing, found ahjummas playing strip poker instead).
*
that night, when changmin was holed up in front of the computer, yoochun was asleep (more like dead to the world), junsu on the balcony, on the phone (as if he and hyukjae hadn't spoken to each other for weeks, when it had actually been only five hours since the last call), and yunho stayed behind the studio to practice (because 'great' wasn't a good enough declaration from the choreographer), jaejoong passed by changmin's desk, clutched his temples suddenly and groaned.
changmin looked up and asked him what the matter was. jaejoong closed his eyes and softly mumbled "nothing."
the youngest followed jaejoong into the bedroom, and watched as he got under the covers. "are you all right?"
changmin climbed in beside jaejoong when the oldest didn't answer. "hyung?"
jaejoong shifted, so his face was buried in the crook of changmin's neck. changmin, in turn, wrapped his arms around jaejoong's waist.
they held each other in silence.
"you know, hyung," changmin murmured against jaejoong's hair. "you could've just said you missed me, instead of going through all that trouble to get my attention." changmin huffed. "feigning a headache, my ass."
"stop sounding so damn smug," jaejoong growled against changmin's shirt. changmin laughed.
jaejoong raised his head and pouted at the other boy. "not fair. you never fall for anything." he punched changmin's arm.
changmin laughed louder. "i see right through you, hyung. don't even bother trying to fool me."
