Eat your fufu!

Yesterday was a far slower day than I'd originally planned. I woke up late and went to Canvasworks to knit for three hours, surrounded by gardeners and caterers and grandmothers and one skinny college girl with large-breasted women tattooed on her biceps. It's really a fabulous thing, knitting is. I left after knitting (and ripping out, and re-knitting) twelve inches of my teacozy poncho.

Came home, called Colleen and then set about trying to cash my check, which apparently wasn't in the cards for the day at all. Procured twenty dollars using my interior design skills, picked up Colleen and headed to Seattle.

When did I get so old? Wazobia was excellent, darling, and highly recommended. We went in search of ice cream and Godiva at Southcenter mall, and then came home and I was completely bushed. At least I satisfied my weekly goals of a) finding something wonderful to do with my Noro Iro #9 b) hanging out with Colleen and c) going to Seattle. Now, to find a place to live.
