It was the first time Hojo had ever let anyone near this particular project. It had been his secret for years, funded with money skimmed off of his quarterly budgets. Illegal, yes, but Hojo considered it entirely worth it. With the project completed he figured he didn't have to keep it a secret any longer. It wasn't as though anyone could do anything about it now, and he was fairly confident that no one was going to be doing any investigating into it. He'd flown under the radar before, although he preferred to show people the fruits of his genius at every opportunity.
