The Evil Disease Returns!
Poor Dan. He came down with this measles-like-virus last week. It's really odd with hive-like spots coming out all over, and apparently they itch like crazy. Just like measles, the virus progresses over the body, starting at the face and moving across the torso and on to the extremities. Almost like that, anyway, because his started at the neck and worked down. Monday, Dan was just getting rid of the last signs of it on his feet.
Wednesday he came out with spots on his face, just two. No big deal. He went to work this morning... and came home at 10am with swollen lips, and his chest in full-swing-breakout again. He's desperately trying to get well enough to go to a holiday party we have been looking forward to attending for the past four weeks. Here's hoping, but I'm not holding my breath.
The trick is getting the kids out of the house without wearing them to a thread so that he can get rested, but they don't get totally run down. Ah, the joys of family ;)
