(no subject)
so i had a pretty good weekend.
i found out thursday night that i had a pageant on saturday. totaly put down the wrong date for what reason i am not sure of yet. so i had a whole day to prepare since i had to work. and i actually did very well in the pageant. i was in the oldet age division (18-24) and was the only one in high school, so i was the youngest. needless to say..
i am the new Miss Atlanta Christian.
i actually won. just my dad was there though because it was such short notice, my whole family was out of town. even my mom. but it was an amazing experience. Lacey Smith, who beat me last year in this pageant, got to crown me. i am guessing they just like Lacey's to win this thing.
it was so God centered though. it was a really neat experience. i prayed and prayed about the pageant for 3 days straight. we had to do an onstage interview which was the scariest part. i thought i did ok, but obviously i did more than that. but it was so cool because you just got to share about God on your heart. it was almost like preaching. my question was "Why is knowing the bible so important to you?" it was amazing.
