ever wake up one day and just look around and realize how much you love your life? it's a great feeling, isn't it?
things are goin alright(ish) right now. I NEED MONEY... but nothin new there, huh?
new year's eve was particularly awesome this year. i got to hang out with this girl i met while doing my now world-famous strip show up at brookstone. we talked afterwards and exchanged phone numbers. so we went downtown on new year's eve to the egypt central concert. not one of my favorite bands, but there were some pretty good thrash bands that opened up, and THAT was awesome. after that we got out on beale street, WHICH COST ME $20 JUST TO GET IN, because of course... we're both 19. so we got to hang out in there, kick back a few drinks. ran in to some folks i knew. had a good time. we headed out around 1:30 or 2:00, and i ended up stayin at her place that night. it was definitely... a good way to bring in the new year. i don't know if we're gettin together or not. i know she really wants to, but i'm not sure if i wanna get into a relationship right now.
i might be goin to cincinnati (sp?) with david and matt next month to the avenged sevenfold concert. that should be pretty cool, since matt knows a lot of folks up there. i know it'll be a really great time, i just gotta make sure we can all get off work to go to it. but i think it'd be awesome. this whole metal thing... it's rubbin off on me a little bit.
BUT. not as much as radiohead. as declared my new 'favorite band.' but we all know that could change next week. regardless, i've still managed to buy all their albums the past couple months and it's very sufficient to say that they are ABSOLUTELY AMAZING.
