we could feel alive
i cannot wait until summer
seriously.
not the "i can't wait to party and sleep and do what i want" kind of feeling
but that "i want to be warm and lazy and happy and free" kind of feeling
i smelled summer last week
i was driving down the interstate and it just hit me
that suntan lotion and burger kinda smell
with flowers
and heat
and a breeze mixed in.
it was bliss for 10 minutes.
2 months and some change until I'm 18.
i'm kind of taken aback by it all.
i'm grown up?
weird.
i remember finger painting in preschool so vividly.
it's the time when you wonder where you'll be in 5 years.
crazy.
i've decided to live one day at a time, though.
it's easier and makes me happier not to know what's in store.
well i'm done rambling on about my nostalgia for the day.
