Willow: Watching Buffy leave, and then finally Connor, Willow shuts the door with a sigh. "More problems.. does it ever stop?" she mumbles to herself, or to Giles, whoever happens to be listening.
Giles: "Did it ever?" Giles responded, leaning against the wall partly separating the kitchen from the living area.
Willow: Willow shook her head and came over to Giles, with pursed lips. "No.. I suppose it didn't. God..Faith.. I mean.. it's no secret her and I aren't close but.. god."
Giles: Giles nodded. "She's come a long way. We'll find her, luv." Mentally, Giles' mind was racing. Perhaps it was time to put an end to the ridiculous situation of hellspawn having any control on earth, no matter what the costs.
Willow: Willow nodded and then looked up at him, knowing there was something going on. "What are you thinking?"
Giles: "Eh?" Giles blinked. "Just working the problem, luv. Seems we've been targeted. We need to be more secure or take some of them out. I am not amused with the thought of drinking demon blood, however."
Willow: Making a face and sticking out her tongue, Willow makes a ugh noise and then nods. "Totally right. I think it's time to try the duplicating spell.. duplicate it at least to the point to get Faith.. if not.. do something permanently about them."
Giles: Giles looked at her closely. "What would you suggest?" he asked softly. "The kind of magic you're thinking of... not exactly recommended for either of us, or even both of us. Two fallen and recovered sorcerers taking out a division of Hell?"
Willow: Looking around as if that would make the idea come to her Willow shrugged. "I'm not sure honestly. But... I did the Slayer spell.. and I'm fine.. I think.. maybe us.. having.. fallen and recovered might even make us more powerful. We know that.. temptation.. we can resist it."
Giles: Giles nodded, looking thoughtful. "Perhaps," he said slowly. "No risks to you again though. The Slayer spell was channeling massive positive energy into positive recepticles. This would be going head-to-head with evil at its source. Begin researching?"
Willow: Giving a firm nod, Willow reached up and kissed Giles softly. "Yes.. research and then we can do the doubling spell and then go from there."
Giles: Giles nodded, knowing that she'd never stay out of the line of fire. He also wasn't telling her that he intended on shielding her during any rituals. "I love you, Willow, never doubt that. I'm sorry, I'm not in a good place tonight."
Willow: "Don't apologize. You have nothing to apologize for honest. I understand." And she did. About Angel and the whole thing. She remembered. "I love you too Giles.. if you need anything or want to talk.. about.. I mean I'm here."
Giles: Giles smiled. "Thank you. I'm not sure what to do. First impulse is to get drunk, second is to bash Angel senseless and I haven't a clue as to the third and probably more logical choice."
Willow: "Yes because you're not getting drunk while we have work to do. And there's no way I'm letting you go off against Angel again." Willow gives him that stern look. "We'll figure out third option when we come to it."
Giles: Giles smiled and kissed her forehead. "Can't promise what I'd do if I see him," he said softly. "For now, I'm here with you and Dawn. Let's begin researching, shall we? Try and find a way to close down their influence here on Earth without ending up there with them."
Willow: "Sounds as good a place to start if any." Willow replies with a smile, heading over to the couch to grab up some books and start the research part.
Giles: Giles watched her move and smiled. "You're beautiful, by the way." He reached for a familiar book - one that the Council had forbid anyone outside the Elders seeing. Now, maybe they could find a solution.
Willow: Willow blushed brightly, toying with her hair. "You just can't stop with the compliments can you? Hee.. thank you handsome."
Giles: Giles chuckled. "I waited long enough to get them, making up for lost time."
