3-Weeks-Old!

Jun 06, 2005 23:21

Sorry it has taken me so long to update. Connor is doing wonderfully. As of last week, he weighed eight pounds four ounces and was 22-inches long. Unfortunately, my milk wasn’t enough for him so I had to switch to formula after two weeks. I was upset about it at first, but at least he’s getting the nourishment he needs.

Connor can hold his head up and move it around, he can roll from his belly to his back, and he’s already batting dangling toys around. He loves to swing when he’s awake. We keep telling him that babies don’t do these things until they’re older, but he doesn’t seem to care. I’m so proud of him. Everyday it seems he’s getting bigger, stronger, and smarter.

Right now, I’m working on getting him settled into a routine. I guess it can take awhile to accomplish, but I’m optimistic that we can do it after a week or so. I need a brake from sleepless nights and spontaneous feedings.

Overall, Connor is the most mild-tempered infant. I’m so lucky to be his mom.

You may have noticed that milesbackwards is down. There is a DNS Error and they’re “working on it.” Unfortunately, until it’s fixed I can’t upload any more pictures. I’m crossing my fingers that it will be soon though.
