Just got back from my mini-spring break trip. Instead of doing a big trip this year to somewhere far and warm, a bunch of us (Jared, Bryan, Jason, Chris, Maggie, Ben, Emma, Jamie, and I) decided to just rent a cottage by the beach in MA for half the week. It was cold, but it was still nice being by the water, and we had a really good time. Chris cooked us delicious dinners every night (and delicious eggs every morning). Jason found two giant fish skulls and it was probably the best day of his life. I called Jared "love" 500+ times. Many games of Mario Kart were played. We built a fire on the beach and roasted marshmallows. And we all got ridiculously drunk. We played lots of fun drinking games that we created ourselves, including tasks such as eating a piece of cheese off of Jared's gyrating stomach and taking someone's sock off with your teeth. We also played some spades, Uconnopoly, and watched a few movies. Some of the boys broke out their Magic cards and played a few games and we all made fun of them for being giant nerds. Fun people, nice cottage, good food, beautiful view. Overall a great trip.
Now Jared and I are sitting on my couch back in Norwalk, overdosing on 24 as usual. Tomorrow we're going into NYC to see part of the Big East Tournament at Madison Square Garden! We get to see UConn play Syracuse, which is awesome. Free tickets courtesy of Jared's dad, woohoooooo. After that, the rest of spring break is probably going to consist of trying to make a dent in the piles of homework and reading that have been building up all semester.
That's all for now - maybe I'll add a few pictures from the trip once I get them onto my computer.
