July meme, Days 7 to 10
I am lacking in imagination this morning, so in an attempt to stir my few remaining brain cells into life, I thought I'd try to catch up on the meme.

7. If you had to move to a new city, where would you move?
If I had to move. I don't know. Probably not a city. A market town somewhere, where I already knew some people... Or, to contradict that, maybe a capital city where there are lots of museums and big libraries. But really? I like where I am and I don't want to move.
8. What did your parents do when you were growing up?
They lived their lives and they raised me and my siblings. Because we were growing up.
"What do you do?" is such a limiting question. It implies that the only thing worth mentioning is the paid employment you have. I refuse to cooperate with that reductionist attitude to my parents' lives *g*
9. When someone knocks on the door, who do you think it is?
I don't make an assumption. It could be anyone - a courier who can't get an answer next door and needs to leave a parcel with someone, a friend, a member of the family, a neighbour wanting to collect the parcel I took in for them.
10. Did your parents live in a different country before you were born?
No, not before I was born they didn't.
