21 Would it disturb you much if, upon your death, your body were simply thrown into the woods and left to rot? Why? No, it wouldn't bother me at all; I'd be dead. Once you're dead you are not disturbed by anything

That would certainly be more hygienic, as well as ecologically sound.

I don't want to discourage, but if you can find enough space between the roots to dig the hole *g*

I think, in the areas where you can have a woodland burial, they plant you first then your tree. But it wouldn't be our problem :)

Very true, I think they do.

I saw a woodland burial plot when I went to my sister-in-law's funeral. In 15 or 20 years it will look quite nice, but at that time the saplings all looked a bit regimented.
