i cannot believe the awesomeness that was ring dance.

okay, okay, so i have to relive my night. i'm sorry, but it is necessary.

i get home at a gloriously early hour and proceed to futz put around my house being girly and doing essential girly tasks (ie painting my toe nails). then come the hair appointment, where fran, my overweight dreadlock-laden stylest did nothing that i asked, but still managed to weasel her way into a massive tip because she demonstrated dance moves through half the appointment.

then off to emily's house. although this did not please my parents, my father going so far as to pull the jewish guilt trip. you thought only old jewish grandmothers?? "fine, just leave your poor crippled father." go dad. it's sad how little stock i put into my parents input anymore. anyways, natalie, emily, and i were lazy. nat tried to give me smokey eyes but they didn't cooperate, so i gave myself ridiculous eyes. picture time at emily's was insane because of the shear quantity of us there. picture time at my house consisted of my mom taking as many as she could before i said "ENOUGH"

ross was hot. oh yes he was. as was everyone else. i was really impressed by our collective beauty. good job everyone.

dinner was fabulous, as expected. i got the most original dish, and i managed to leave the leftovers at ross's. highlights include the pimpin' piano player and ross's sweetness.

i was so surprised by how much fun i had at the dance. we all actually danced. i didn't think ross and i would, but we did and it was good times. highlights of dancing include james getting dry humped by two females, "you're not even pretending to dance anymore," and meg and i dancing with ross and allen. hot damn. pretty much the whole night was just really charged and entertaining. my feet hurt the whole time, it was beautiful.

afterwards i went to ross's where i said fuck it and stayed the night at his house. we had a good hour of watching fresh prince and being sickeningly cute. then derit, allen, and james arrived. i told them over the summer that i would eventually find a way into one of their sleep overs. it was slightly awkward, but mostly it was just fun. and sweet. hooray for that.

life was good last night. and we ate a lot this morning. SOOO much, in fact.
