nine minutes until my rehearsal with Tom. Thirty nine until my jury.
Okay, so this performance on Sunday is turning more and more sketch. I was told about an orchestral rehearsal scheduled for last night at the choir rehearsal on Wed. Umm.. Only my best friend's birthday party. I rearranged a few things, like the start time of the party, in order to do both. Well, I got an email on Monday that said the other soloists couldn't make it and he had pushed back my time thirty minutes. I informed him that if they weren't going to be there, neither was I.
Maja's party was fun. We found out that between the lot of us, we could put on an entire wedding (photographers, florist, singer, make-up artist..). Maja's college friends are really cool.
I was crabby all yesterday, despite filling the day with things I love to do. I went shopping downtown, but found NOTHING at Saks... Well, I found something there, but I refuse to spend 150 for a shell I can make myself. The fabric was soooo cool, though.A textured lame... I went to Petersen's Flowers on 36th and Lyndale. I love Amos (the resident boxer).
