Easter dinner

To end the suspense, no Chipotle on Easter. My parents did come. My sister came with Lance. Aunt Dagmar rearranged her Sunday plans with Uncle Oliver so we could all eat together after church. My mother shows no mercy in the kitchen. She put us all to work. Dan and I made the hollandaise, Kris and Lance joined in on the lefse. The table was set, but we had to add an extra place because mom invited Dan at the service. How she managed to invite him without alienating Brad (black suit boy), I don't know. How they found each other with 4000 people milling around I also don't know. I sang well.

My mom got me an Easter basket. It had chocolate and jelly beans, but also included a new toothbrush and homemade soap. Yeah, mom!

While I was working on Monday night, both Dan and Brad made appearances. After five days of craziness, I took Tuesday off. I went to the library and caught up with the staff, walked down Hennepin. Stopped in Orr books for postcards. I wanted to find a pair of rubber flip flops, but no luck. Not even at the GAP. I wanted to stop at the Paper Source for card stock, but didn't have enough time. Met Bry at Sebastian Joe's for a pre-walk treat. We did Isles (my favorite).

It was such a gorgeous day. Its always a lot of fun to see how dogs match their owners. We came across an extremely hyper chocolate lab. You could just see the internal dialogue. The owner tried to tire it out by having it fetch sticks from the lake. It only took the edge off... On the path in front of us, a puppy sort of wiggled its way up the big hill. I was disappointed there weren't any ducklings or gosling yet. I decided I wanted to be a mom. And I want a house.

NOW..... I booked a flight to Wien!! I've got two places lined up to stay. Friends that I thought would be in the states won't be moving until after I leave.
