I was really starting to get the hang of not actually having anything to do. Siiiigh.
I have to make, uh, four phone calls soon. One to Planned Parenthood to attempt to make a sort of emergency appointment to pick up a pack of birth control because the generic of it is on back order. One to NJ Cure to see if I've been approved for my hopefully much cheaper car insurance (I'm not even sure I have the right phone number to do this). One to some doctor or another to whine about my health. Aaand one to the vet to make an appointment for Demi (who hasn't had a checkup yet) and also so I can get some more flea medicine.
I am waiting for one phone call, from America's Best, to let me know when my glasses are done.
I'm still waiting for a reply from goddamn Hartz regarding the money they damn well better be giving me, as well as for the title for my car from the people I took the loan out with. If I don't get either of them next week, I'm going to have to give them phone calls to find out what the fuck is going on.
I have tons of shopping I need to do. Not even for things I want, but for things I need. Which makes me all kinds of sad. Especially since I don't have any money to do said shopping until Thursday. My cats need new litter, uh, tomorrow. And food.
I'm long overdue for updating one of my fanfics, and I have got to finish Kari's fic before I tear my hair out in utter frustration because IT WON'T END ARGH.
I also think it's about time that I actually got started on all of those silly promises I've been making to myself. (Summer is coming, guys! I am so excited for the heat YOU HAVE NO IDEA (okay, no, you probably have some idea).)
...Also I may buy a blender soon. This is for the purposes of making fruit smoothies and milkshakes. My dad has no faith in my ability to make either. D:
Fortunately, despite everything I have to do, I'm still not as busy as I've gotten accustomed to being in the past few months. I'm very pleased by this.
getting my shit together,
life
