I really want an eyepatch
Home from school today because my left eye is swollen shut. I got hit in the face yesterday by a soccer ball sized ball made of the material that tennis balls are made of, so it was rather heavy. I kinda look like I got beat up, which would make for a more interesting story. I was really scared that I had a concussion yesterday and so was the school so they sent me home, but I went back an hour later because Speech Team owns my soul and I wanted to be there for it. So yeah, my eye hurts and I can barely open it, so I am staying home today.
I think I've got a prose piece for this year and am becoming slightly less afraid of extemp, which is a good thing. Still terrified of it though. There are mice living in the walls of my room, so I have been sleeping on the couch lately while we try to catch them all. We caught 3 last night and it was the first night we laid out traps. I have no idea what I'm doing for Halloween this year. I might have a job this summer babysitting at camp, which would mean that I would get payed for being at camp. Sweet.
Matt went home a week ago. We had a surprisingly fabulous time. :) I understand geometry...kind of. This is saying a lot since I suck at math. New Sims 2 expansion pack came out over teh weekend and I have been playing like a fiend. It's awesome. I am officially hooked on Heroes because it's great. My entry is disjointed and boring and my eye hurts a lot.
Oh, I might start taking Driver's Ed after winter break through the school in place of the art class that I have lined up to take at that time, but I guess we shall ahve to wait and see.
Didn't sleep last night. Will be sleeping now. K bye.
