The Road = Holy shit! i was thinking no country during the preview and whaddya know. i rule. anyway, much like old country, this movie will probably deliver on dialogue/mood moreso than action. it's going to be epic, i REALLY cant wait for this
where the wild things are = should be good i guess, but i bet it'll be lame. that's my call
moon = YES SPACE DRAMA. I love movies in space that arent "SHOOT PPL W/ LAZERS IN SHIPS!!1" and rather a secluded environment that can affect people in different ways. Ala Event Horizon or Suprnova (remember seeing that with hillary?!) I recently tried watching a space movie marathon and besides startrekstarwars I couldnt think of many greats.
surveillance = mind fuck scrambled eggs mibrast toey with lynch and executive lynch at the egg helm. i know you loved that.
nine = ...chicago was good, so maybe this one will be g7ty$q23^ty99at4a2 wtf
shutter island = I READ THIS BOOK OMG. I had NO IDEA there was a trailer for this. Frankie. Mike. Do yourselves a
( ... )
let me re-iterate that you need to be excited for the actual movie frankie. gay trailers ruin movies and this is one movie that scorsese will get right.
"2001: A Space Odyssey" (Perhaps the greatest film EVAR) "Solaris" (Literally JUST finished it a minute ago...again) "Alien" "The Abyss" "The Fountain" (I know only parts are in space, but I still consider it Sc-Fi) "Sunshine" (Kind of falls apart, just plot-wise, in the third act, but I still love it...The score and visuals never disappoint)
hahaha funny, I downloaded Solaris from "that site" literally two days ago, but I've yet to watch it. 2001 is awesome and the alien movies are alright i guess.... the abyss frankie? really? LOL no but i know what you mean, it's a spacey movie. that's one of my favorite all time long ass movies (directors cut). fountain was pretty good and sunshine was pretty epic in my opinion. the plot just does go to the shitter eventually. its like they decided to drop all the scripts and make one of the characters crazy and try and kill people.
hey do you remember what that email message said a long time ago? the "mibrast toey etc etc" thing, i cant remember it and i dont have the pic
The first one, Alien. Watch it again. I like the others, but the first one is incredibly gorgeous. And of course The Abyss is Sci-Fi! What else would it be? That movie owns.
What I mean is, I didn't mean just space movies...Sci-Fi in general. Most of it sucks, but there are amazing ones. If you can do a GREAT sci-fi movie, you can do anything film-wise.
Yeah I know what ya meant on the sci fi thingy once I read it again haha. I CANT BELIEVE YOU STILL HAD THAT PICTURE AWESOME!! Remember watching 12 Monkeys in three sittings with Travis? hahaha we never finished it i dont think.
also i was waiting for you to bring up suprnova. hillary was like "i liked that the title of the movie was at the end"
