Because I'm bored and because I can.
Mom wants me to run over to Food Lion and get one item. It really shouldn't be that awful because it's right across the street and it's just Food Lion, but I still don't want to go. It would require me taking a shower and getting dressed. For some reason I can't even go there without looking somewhat presentable. Maybe it's because I know people that work there or that someone that I know could be shopping. I really shouldn't care what my appearance looks like because I'm probably not going to see them again, but I don't want the last image they have of me to be one where I have semi-greasy hair pulled up in a ponytail in a t-shirt and shorts that probably don't flatter my legs in the slightest.

edit: I hate going into Food Lion. I only needed to get golden mushroom soup. You know how weird it is when you go into Food Lion and only get ONE thing? Almost as bad as a teenager going in and getting golden mushroom soup. What am I going to make with that? You know, Food Lion should've really invested in getting one of those check yourself out lines all those years ago. Way to keep up with your competition, Food Lion! Even Harris Teeter has those!
