I feel like half of the summer has already gone by and UNCG starts in a couple of weeks. Luckily for me this isn't true. I still have a lot of stuff to get for my dorm room...and I'm not mentally ready for that big transition yet either.
I'm partially embarrassed because for the past couple of days I've been listening to Lindsay Lohan's CD non-stop. It's crazy. She actually has a lot of good hits on her CD and it's not just all pop music. A lot of it has a good amount of rock in it. The music is a lot like Kelly Clarkson CDs. I like a good half of the CD out of 11 songs. There's one song on the CD, "Disconnected" that describes my attitude and outlook on life so well. Look up the lyrics sometime, or just visit my profile.
On Thursday I went to see Herbie: Fully Loaded. I normally tend to enjoy Lindsay Lohan movies, so I figured I'd like this movie. Plus, it's a family movie and usually Disney family movies are pretty enjoyable. I liked the movie a lot. It surprises me that Lindsay Lohan picks the movie roles that she picks. With her image, you'd think that she'd be in more vulgar, daring movies...not constantly kids movies or movies where she's a High School student.
I'm excited about the future of mens tennis. There are a lot of hot guys coming up in the rankings that I'm looking forward to watching in years come. It kind of makes me mad though that I'm not able to go to the Cincinnati tournament this year because all of those guys will most likely be playing there. I was SO CLOSE to goin to a mens tournament at the end of the summer (the first week of August) in Washington DC where a lot of American players play, like Andy Roddick, James Blake, Mardy Fish, the Bryan Brothers, etc., but my mom decided she didn't want to spend the money. I hope that next year the Cincinnati tournament actually starts the first week of August like it normally does so I'm able to go. I think one year if I brought Chrissy it would be so awesome. Even if you don't like watching tennis, you'd like this because you're so up close to these hot guys...plus you're in person and everything is more fun when you're there in person. Cincinnati only has one main stadium where you actually have to sit where your ticket says to, even though we normally don't, but everywhere else it doesn't matter. You can sit front row if you'd like. Ah, I have to stop talking about this otherwise I'm going to make myself jealous.
I'm surprised that Kelly Monaco is still on the TV show Dancing with the Stars, but hey, good for her! She's done very well the past couple of weeks. GO KELLY! :)
I hope everyone's having a good weekend! Toodles!
