Well red frog crew at schoolies has been fun. Looking forward to another dance party on friday night with a mechanical bull (FREE!!!! yes!!!).
I went to the movies by myself on Tuesday and saw Tim Burton's The Corpse Bride.
There are two important parts that must be noted in this sentence.
a) I went to the movies BY MYSELF. As a first timer at doing the whole solo movie thing, I was like but maybe it will be crappy because I don't have anybody to laugh with or cling to when I freak out, or make snotty comments to about the dodge-value of the movie. However, going by myself was FANTASTIC!!! I really felt so refreshed from just hanging out with myself for a while. My mouth felt great too from not having to talk all the time! I have decided that I will soon be taking myself out to dinner with a good book (one I've never read before). Aaaah, when one becomes enlightened the possibilities are endless.
b) I went and saw THE CORPSE BRIDE. Absolutely bloody fantastic!!! I enjoyed it so much. I highly recommend it. Not a crack-up killer comedy, but nice and quirky, a bit dark and funny. I would so see it again. I now have to go and rent out The Nightmare Before Christmas because I haven't seen it yet.
I have to go because my lunchtime is basically over, and I have to go and yell at my friend because she has given me exactly 3 days notice as to her engagement party on Sunday, and I am a BRIDESMAID!!! How does that cut it? I can tell you, IT DOESN'T!!!
Actually, I won't be yelling at her, because I have pretty much NEVER yelled at a friend before. Even/especially a best one.
So that's all for now.
Except, also, I am trying to be more mysterious. Like when you meet someone, and you go wow, they are really mysterious and INTRIGUING.
I want to be like that.
So if anybody has any tips, please pass them along.
