So what's up. My past few weeks have been pretty crappy...i've been sick and just abunch of other junk. I left my silver suitcase at the venue in San Antonio which holds about 300 dollars worth of stuff. Last night we played Dallas..it was okay...Bloc Party was playing right beside us and sold out at 3,000 tickets and Adema was playing on the other side of us..as well as two other shows going on. We played well though and the singer from Ten 33 was all crazy about us and stuff and went and called his record label (blood and ink) and he's going to call me today and tell me if we got on Cornerstone or not...he was an awesome guy. We're about to head out to Wichita Falls for what is supposed to be a good show. Here are a list of things that have happened on this tour.
1. Getting screwed out of money...the other night we got payed $4 for 3 bands...we got $1.25 for driving 6 hours...the promoter didn't even show up to the show..and he had guaranteed us $100 and we had his address so we go to his house...us, sleeping alone, and jason..i knock on the door and make all the rest of the dudes stay in the van...i end up arguing with this lady (the promoters mom) and we call the police...anyway...nothing happened and we still didn't get payed.
2. We were having van wars w/ sleeping alone on the way to san antonio and we get pulled over on the side of the interstate and the police brought these 3 huge drug dogs and they went climbing up on all our crap and broke my pedal board
3. we did get to stay at lindsey's crazy mansion though. whoah.
i miss being home right now and i wish all this crazy crap happening to us would stop. i miss kara..everytime i call her she never picks up becuase she can't hear her cell phone..and she got her other phone removed and junk..whatever i just miss talking to her. okay im out.
