Well that's it with one coat of poly on it. It's #2 Red oak so there will be more variation in the color than if I sprung for the really good stuff.. but it wasn't even a financial issue. When we looked at it we liked the stuff better. It's a bit more .. interesting. Should look great when the whole house is done.

You can really see the grain. The red of the red oak is really obvious. Lots of color there. The variation is good, I suppose. It won't be a boring floor, at least.
