[Kurt is oblivious to the flood of new people in the mansion at the moment.

Why? Because he's styling his hair. Or trying to. Without any glass in the mirrors, he's had to resort to filling up the sink with water and trying to use his reflection. It's just a little bit sad.

Kurt's pretty visibly frustrated though. He's about this close to giving ( Read more... )

[Smith can see your frustration. He feels for you. Impeccable coiffures are hard to maintain without mirrors.]

...you need any help?

[He chuckles quietly.]

Yes, that is my name. But I don't believe we've met, so you leave me in the disadvantageous position of asking for yours.

[Listen to how articulate he is! It's a marvel.]

I'm Kurt Hummel. It's a pleasure. [Really.]

I assume that you must be Dean's Mirror then? The real Dean is nice, but not nearly so eloquent.

Kurt Hummel? Likewise a pleasure. And yes, I am.

[Not that Smith is particularly fond of it being implied that he's not real, seeing as he's standing right here, but Kurt probably doesn't mean it in that way.]

Almost ashamed to share first names with him sometimes, actually, but it can't be helped.

[He really doesn't. The last thing he wants at the moment is to insult the handsome, charming Dean before him.]

Ugh, tell me about it. I've seen my Mirror before, and I'm pretty sure he's every kind of awful there is. He talks like he wishes he were a trucker. I know exactly what you mean.

A trucker?

[Please accept this apologetic grimace.]

I'm sorry, that...that's awful. The utter lack of regard towards wardrobe is unappealing, as well. It's a marvel that Winchester gets around as much as he does.

Don't remind me.

[Stupid Cas. AND STUPID DEAN.]

Mine's incapable of dressing himself in a way that isn't atrocious. He's always in flannel or an old baseball cap. Or a tech vest.

[Shrudders.]

Nn...Flannel.

[The word is tinged with some bitterness. Heinous fabric, that - and it shall never touch his skin if he can help it. Sighing a little, he straightens up- And then finally recognizes Kurt's name.

It's Kurt.

The Kurt.

As in, The Kurt Hummel Debacle Kurt.]

...I heard what Winchester did. You have my most sincere condolences, he's.....well. He's an idiot.

Yes. Yes, he is.

[He's not going to deny that, ever. But he sighs.]

Thank you though. I appreciate it. I...like to assume that he can't help it, because the alternative is infuriating.

To be honest, although I hate sticking up for him, it really isn't his fault. He's got a lot of problems.

[He shakes his head sadly.]

He's easy to make friends with, though - on the other side, for someone like me...well. Let's just say that it's a little more difficult. Good conversation is scarce.

It must be, given some of your peers over there. I can't imagine how you put up with it constantly.

It takes patience.

[Dean groans, mussing his own impeccable hair.]

They say patience is a virtue, but I'll admit, it's still hard. My current...ah...rooming situation can be tense at times. The problem is that company is so hard to find, one might as well resort to anything available.

That's a shame. I'm shocked that Mirrors aren't at your feet begging to stay with a dapper fellow like yourself. Some people just have no taste.
