I don't know what happened to make me forget about my real family, but I don't intend to stay here long enough to have it happen a second time.

All things considered, this is one'a the least cruel events so far. I'd consider yourself lucky you remember your own family at all, with the way this place like t'work.

[A long pause. His voice is quieter when he speaks again.]

Funny, that still sounds like a reason to want to leave immediately. I haven't heard much about these...events, though. If this is one of the least cruel, then the others must really be horrifying.

Luck'a the draw, really. There was one where we all had wings for a few days. Not bad, just ... odd. Depends on what mood the mansion's in, I guess.
