[Audio post. Kurt put off this message for a while, until he felt he could speak without wavering, but it needed to be said. He still sounds a little choked up, but he's trying to mask it with anger.]

I don't know what happened to make me forget about my real family, but I don't intend to stay here long enough to have it happen a second time. ( Read more... )

So I've heard. And I suppose you've already tried everything possible?

I'm a bit of a different case. Leavin' here for me means a completely different thing than it does for you, son.

Don't worry too much, you'll get back home soon enough.

I certainly hope so. My skin can't take much more of this stress, and I can't take much more of these ridiculous head games.

All things considered, this is one'a the least cruel events so far. I'd consider yourself lucky you remember your own family at all, with the way this place like t'work.

[A long pause. His voice is quieter when he speaks again.]

I'm confident you don't want t'know, son.

Funny, that still sounds like a reason to want to leave immediately. I haven't heard much about these...events, though. If this is one of the least cruel, then the others must really be horrifying.

...That's rather ominous-sounding. I-I guess I'll have to take your word for it.

Luck'a the draw, really. There was one where we all had wings for a few days. Not bad, just ... odd. Depends on what mood the mansion's in, I guess.

Not everyone around here is as lucky as you are, son. Just keep that in mind.
