Tonia's mother put up money to get a table seating ten at the annual Second Chance Pets Dinner and Silent Auction. There were a number of people expected to show up at our table that had to cancel last minute but Tonia managed to whip up eight heads. Attendees included Peter Kinser, his mother and a guest, Tonia's old friend Shelly, our neighbor Cindy, and of course Tonia's mom, Tonia, and myself. Both Tonia and her mother spent an exorbitant amount of money on useless items... but it all went for a good cause. Tonia bought me a framed mini-poster of the three original Star Wars posters - in french. The dinner they served was fantastic but I ended up in a lot of intestinal pain by the end of the evening and couldn't wait to get home. It was really fun to watch Tonia get so excited helping out with the event. She collected and tabulated payments at the end of the night.
