I've had a lot of issues with pain lately, in my head, gut, and chest.  The good news is that my 9th chemo cycle ended on Friday 2.22.08  (We went to Ichibon for Tonia's birthday)  I had an MRI scan taken today (2.28.08) and looked at the results immediately afterward with my oncologist.  The images show more progress in the recess of malignant ( Read more... )

This may be a really dumb question, but I don't really know you so I have to ask. Have you ever considered integrating homeopathic treatment with your current medical treatment? I'm definitely no doctor and wouldn't want to recommend something that could interfere with what your medical doctors are doing, but I think it might be something to look into as it boosts your immune system and could possibly help with a lot of the side-effects you're having. This is a good Q&A to begin with. Again, sorry if I'm overstepping any bounds, it's just that I've been doing a lot of research into homeopathy lately as an alternative method of helping my autistic son.

I don't think it's a dumb question and I appreciate you taking the time to make the suggestion. The primary tools of homeopathic remedy for cancer are focus on diet and use of arsenicum album. I have in fact taken great measure to moniter my diet and selectively consume that which will best facilitate my battle and recovery. Arsenicum Album on the other hand is primarily used in instances where cancer patients are either depressed, in the panic of fear, or near death - of which I am neither.
