Here's my movies-watched list for the first half of 2009. As with last year, asterisks are re-watches. This list doesn't count TV series, of which I've watched Battlefield Britain, Star Trek TNG seasons 1-4 (SO FAR), Mad Men season 2 (getting ready for season 3), Muppet show seasons 1&2 etc etc oh dear ( Read more... )

wendy and lucy was soul-deadening, but milo and otis! there is a movie.

aguirre: wrath of god, also tops.

empire of the sun is the earliest christian bale movie, and it is worthwhile.

I have seen the craft more than twice in the past few months, thanks to HBO playing it midday, when nothing else is on.

yeah, turns out I make internet comics for a living? such a thing often results in free time.

I watched La Haine last year, after a long long wait. I found it a tiny bit disappointing, but I think that was just ridiculously high expectations.

Could be could be... I stumbled upon it during X-am period (the tests for cool kids) last year. It had some neat parts. Maybe having lived in a place like that, it's easier to appreciate? More a transposition of real life than a story.
