The Pillows
Uh went to see The Pillows at the El Rey Theater in Hollywood a few weeks back. It was motherfucking awesome.
They played pretty much all their FLCL hits, which is all well and good, but it was pretty much the same set as last year. I'd love to hear some of their other non-anime songs someday. NOT COMPLAINING THOUGH because any opportunity to see the Pillows life is a fucking amazing opportunity indeed.
I didn't actually take any photos, just video.
But yeah, I was super stoked that they played their new song, Comic Sonic. Fuck yeah, it's so awesome that they show their US fans so much love <3.
I hope they come back again next year!
