"Captain Kirk!" Andrew whispered, sneaking quietly towards him. He gently set his bow gun down and pulled out a first aid kit, looking around anxiously. "You look horrible. Luckily, I'm really good at first aid. I get hurt a lot."

"Talking less is probably better when we could be under fire again at any second," A voice behind Andrew said, causing Andrew to jump.

"Oh, it's just Lupin. This is Remus Lupin. And this is Captain Kirk." Andrew introduced.

Remus gave a curt nod and pulled out his wand, holding it over Kirk's leg. The shrapnel disappeared. Remus did a few more magical healing spells over the most obvious and treatable injuries.

"That's the best I could do--you should get to a hospital, but this should suffice for now."

Dumbledore could have done better, Andrew thought. Then again, Kirk's no Captain Archer either.

Remus began to put his wand away but was interrupted by Andrew.

"I hope I'm not being too forward," Andrew whispered. "But can I play with your wand?"

Remus stared blankly for a second--then rolled his eyes. "Maybe some other time, when we're not risking our lives and trying to save others'."

Sam made it up from the lower levels to the Medical Center without too much of a problem, Ianto following him closely - under the hunter's orders to be careful. Moving forward at a crouch, he saw Lupin and Andrew, who he greeted with a nod - were already there and treated some of Kirk's injuries. He didn't see anyone else, but the rescue team. "Where are the guards?"

"Is he alright?" Ianto asked, arriving a minute after Sam, nodding towards Kirk.

This was getting ridiculous thought Lee as he thought he heard gunfire. Wasn't it supposed to be safe out here? No, he told himself firmly, you know better then that.

Closing up the access panel on the Viper he made sure his tools were safely locked away from the kids he'd seen earlier in the hanger and drew his weapon, heading out to where he estimated the sounds had come from.

Helo moved quickly behind Teal'c, and the penguin. Breathing a sigh of relief he saw that Kirk was alive. Leaning over he whispered to Teal'c. "Do we secure Kirk, and proceed inside then?"

Teal'c nodded. "Captain, do you know what we are faced with?"

Kirk motioned at the tricorder hanging from his side. "I... took a scan of the building. There's... dozens of people in there, but many of their life-signs are... strange."

"Don't worry," Skipper said. "I have a plan which is as cunning as it is-"

The arrival of the rescuers had not gone unnoticed. Gunfire erupted from the third storey of the Centre, muzzle flashes lighting up the night. Grunting, Solidus crouched behind the rock and drew his swords. "I have a plan too. We find those 'life-signs' and make them far more irregular!"

"Are we going to let this man die here?"

Lee pulled out several of the grenades from the ammo vest and headed for the corner of the building that had basement windows. Maybe enough of an explosion at the foot of a support beam or two could bring down the place.

"Of course not!," Helo snapped before returning fire. "We evac him first, but we need to find out what's so important they have that many people guarding this place." Staying in cover he moved toward Kirk, and began prepping him to be moved.

"Hah. You do that. Good luck." Solidus threw off a mocking, dismissive salute, then charged from behind the rock, following Lee. Skipper stared at him, watching his absolutely brilliant plan fall apart around him.

"You must remain behind cover!" Teal'c yelled. Solidus laughed.

"I am cover!" He yelled. Proving his point, one of the shooters in the building fired a burst at him. Solidus' swords sliced through the air, so fast they were almost blurs. Sparks flew as the bullets were deflected and the clone ran on.

Lee wriggled thought the small basement window and dropped into the basement of the building. He looked around carefully to find a support column, ah there. Pulling out the grenades he was carrying he rigged a trip wire so that anyone coming down the stairs would find it difficult to avoid setting off the explosion.

Now to let the others in on his plan. He shimmied back out the small window and began to make his way back toward Helo and the others.

"Damn it Solidus wait!" Helo shouted after the man. Getting ready to run after him Helo stopped when the man deflected bullets with his sword. That was certainly something he hadn't been counting on. "Frak!, he yelled as he did his best to provide the charging former president with cover fire.

Solidus didn't listen, didn't pay any attention to what Lee was doing. He'd never been big on teamwork ever since his stint babysitting the world's most dysfunctional terrorist group had ended with half of them betraying him. Instead he ran full tilt at the building, leaped into the air, and hit the rocket accelerators, rising to a second-floor window on a pillar of flame. He crashed through it, laughed nastily, and vanished into the building.

Teal'c raised an eyebrow. "I believe Solidus has no interest in forming a plan," he said.

"Listen," Kirk said as the penguin fussed over his bandages with its beak, "if you're going to move me, keep the tricorder, it'll be able to detect whatever's in that building."

"Solidus is so cool," Andrew marveled, eyes wide. Remus was reluctant to allow this apparent man-child on such a dangerous mission; he'd not only be a danger to himself but to the others.

"Are you sure you're up to this, Andrew?"

"I've done worse." Andrew said.

"Follow me, then." Lupin sighed, searching for an available opening. Andrew was fine with being a follower. As stealthily as he could with his wand at the ready, Lupin entered.

"Are you going to Aveda Kedavra their asses if you need to?" Andrew whispered when they saw the room was clear.

"No." Lupin said, a little annoyed. He was trying to observe his surroundings, but if Andrew was going to keep interuppting, it would make things difficult. "There's nothing here. Let's go to the next room."

Lupin opened the door and jumped. There was a scream.

Lee followed Remus and Andrew into the building, whistling to get their attention he indicated that he would search the rooms on the left side of the hallway. He brought up his pistol and started sliding carefully along the wall. Arriving at the first door he ducked down low to the floor while kicking it open. A hail of gunfire passed over his head and he came up shooting.

"Need some backup over here!" he called out wondering at his stupidity. How the frak was he going to do a reload?

Helo hurried into the building as well. He was trying to make sense of the cell numbering when he heard Lee yelling. Running toward the gunfire he slammed into the wall next to the open door. Leaning out he provided some cover fire. "I got you!"
