Cal had appointed himself leader of this little expedition. (Possibly a delusion of grandeur.) He, Winter and Leia were exploring, trying to find a way out of the base -- since all the grown-ups seemed to be doing was talking about it. Planning.

They hadn't had any luck yet, and Cal grimaced as he stepped over a blood stain. Hopefully they would find something soon.
