Or rather, Anakin had heard an explosion, figured it was his younger self's fault and arrived to find said padawan headed towards the crime scene.
"What have you done now?" He hissed, holding the other Anakin by the collar of his tunic.
"Don't act like you're better than me! I know what you did!" Anakin shouted, before struggling from his grip.
"There's something wrong with that kid."

That's what Trever heard when he wore only rags, and slept outside in the alleyways, watching the families on Bellassa go by. It was usually the other children who commented.
Reality wasn't setting in yet.
It was all his fault.
His eyes turned toward the voices.

-before hurrying to Trever's side.
"Hey kid!" he said, smiling broadly but approaching slowly. "You look a little lost! I'm new here, are you new? You wanna go get some food?"
While teen Anakin talked, he had his back turned to his older self- who was now kneeling on the ground in front of Tycho's prone body.
"Well, well, well," he said, very softly.
"I expected better of a Rogue. Had this been one of my traps..." he trails off. Idly, he straighten's Tycho's limbs into a more peaceful position.

Oh no. No no no.
The air in the room was still hazy with smoke, but she spotted both Anakins right away, the younger one talking to a dazed-looking Trever while her husband-
She choked out a sob as she slid to her knees in front of Tycho's prone body. She laid her ear against his chest and didn't hear anything. Frantically felt for a pulse: nothing.
'Tycho,' she whispered tremulously, shaking him even though the rational part of her mind knew he was, in fact, dead. 'Please.' Her voice a soft, keening plea as her shoulders slumped.

He was too exhausted to hit him.
Siri had ran in right before Padme. Her back was against the wall. She knew immediately through the Force that Tycho's body had failed.
A hand over her mouth, she bent down next to Trever. She cautiously put a hand on his shoulder. The boy only slumped down further.

"Siri...?" he asks, before looking back at Trever.
"We're OK. This is all...going to be....OK."
The former Sith lord looked at Padme and took her hand, giving it a gentle squeeze before place Tycho's head in his lap and smoothing his hair.
"Tell me, does the Republic still give the bodies of its soldiers back to whatever planet they died on?" he asked, distantly.

Later, she silently mouthed.
Anakin's words slapped Trever in the face. He started sobbing. It turned into hiccuping. Alarmed, Siri put her arms around him. He didn't fight it.
"I'm sorry," he choked out. "I'm sorry."

"Do you want me to...go get something or...you know...do...something...or get someone?" he asked, fumbling over the words. His face felt numb.

The man was clearly dead; there was nothing Bond could do. Before he could give his presence away, he turned and slipped out of the room as silently as he had come.
