Remy still felt as though she was in a dreamlike state, even when she was wide awake. When Cameron lay next to her, she didn't even feel it. In fact, it took her a moment or two to realize what she was saying.

"Cameron... the other one... she bit..."

There was no blood. The other Cameron must have cleaned and changed Remy before leaving her here. But she'd done it with such care, laying Remy carefully and covering her...

This escaped Cameron as she freaked.

"The vampire? She bit you? Are you alright, did you fight her?!"

"M'fine," Remy slurred, stretching languorously on the bed and regarding Cameron with a dreamy expression. "Feel really nice, actually."

She lay back down against the pillows, her cheek resting on her hand.

"You could have an infection. Remy, look at me. What happened?" Cameron tenderly held Remy's face, forcing her to look at Cameron. She held Remy's eyelids open, in complete doctor mode.
