Anakin blinked stupidly, raising himself to a half-way seated position and leaning heavily on his elbow.
"Don't you understand?!" he screamed at the younglings and advancing Jedi Masters (none of whom were actually there). "I did it for you! I saved you! That's what I wanted!"
Shego trudged in, covered in blood from head to toe. After her meeting with Teal'c, and helping him escape the blood and spirits, she'd come directly to the infirmary to find Anakin.
He looked crazed. Shego slapped him, hoping to bring him into reality. Her hand left a bloody print. Her eyes were still wide, after seeing her only son dead--
Anakin reeled from the force of the blow, tasting blood in his mouth.
"I'm sorry," he said again, holding a hand to his cheek. "I SAID I WAS SORRY! STOP HITTING ME!" Shego faded in and out of his vision, he wasn't entirely sure if she was there or not.
"I should KILL you. You're sorry? You're SORRY?" Shego's hands burned.
"You're sorry our son is dead? You have another one, but I don't, Anakin! He was my-- you bastard!" Shego felt arms pulling her back from Anakin, but she didn't care. This was his fault.
"The Hoods-- you knew he couldn't use his powers right! But instead of looking for him, trying to find him, you were busy with Padme and Tycho.. he's dead, he's dead and it's your fault!" Shego loved Quinton. She would never hurt him. It couldn't be her fault.
Shego had broken free of the arms, but she was so tired and out of it she couldn't even hit Anakin again. She just latched onto him, sobbing onto his shoulder, still covered in blood. The ghost, smirking, covered in claw marks, dripping blood-- Quinton-- was all she could think about.
Shego's version of making someone leave was burning everything in her pvision down until the offending person(s) either left or said goodbye to patches of their skin.
Shego looked up, seeing the ghosts for the first time, finally knocked out of her rage and calmer. She let go of Anakin, walking over to the children. They stared at her.
He paid for his power with our blood, the younglings hissed, advancing upon him. He traded our lives- our family's lives-- for one woman. She didn't even survive that night
"Please, I...I am sorry," Anakin said, faintly. "I am so, so sorry."
Shego's eyes were fixed somewhere else. In the back of the group of younglings, Quinton was watching them, just staring with a smirk. Shego moved to a cabinet, grabbing a first aid kit and snatching up the tangible child.
"See? I can fix you." Hands shaking, she tried to wipe at the blood, but more came from the wounds on his neck.
You're doing a horrible job of fixing me. Just like you couldn't take care of me when I was alive.
"Be quiet. I'm taking care of you." But just as she wrapped a gauze around his neck, it dissolved as if it were never there.

She lay there limply, a hand still clutched to her abdomen even in her sleep.

Wait. Padme was on the bed next to him, dying.
I have two sons.
"Quin's dead?" he asked, slowly. "Quinton? The other...he's dead?"
The younglings snickered.

It had to be Anakin's. She had to blame someone.

"I would not leave my son! I wouldn't!" he shouted, leaning on the bedpost for support. "Not for Celchu, or Padme-- I don't remember this!"
Can you remember half the people you killed? the crowd of ghostly younglings asked.
"SHUT UP! I RECALL ALL OF MY CRIMES!" he screamed, before turning back to Shego.

"Tell them to leave!" he said, before lifting his head back up. "GET OUT! GO BACK TO BEING DEAD!"

Why are you so nice to him? He killed us.
"I love him. And he's sorry."

"I don't know what they want."
We'd like to be alive
"I can't do that! I can't fix anything!" Anakin howled.

"Did you tell them about the nightmares? About how awful you feel for it?"

Don't touch me, Vader!
He began to move forward, one inch at a time, until the younglings moved around him in a circle- none of them getting within two feet of him.
Is his life worth more than ours?
Will you torture him like you tortured Leia
"What happened?" he asked Shego.
