When: After Serena signs off the computer console.

Serena switched the computer off and spun around in the chair, tucking herself onto the couch. It was the closest place to curl up, and she didn't want to need to move any further. It was a stupid thing to say, really, she never should have said something so serious in such an offhanded way, but...but she'd meant it.
She'd meant it. She still did.
But Blair hadn't said anything back, and while she hadn't expected her to, there was a tightness in her chest that wasn't going to go away anytime soon. She just needed to be alone for a little while. Pulling her hands behind her head, Serena closed her eyes and stayed still.
