The Doctor stumbled down the hall, looking for the door with the number that Sarah had given him.
He felt rather like death. His head was a pounding mess and his stomach was not fairing much better. He was looking forward to the comfort of tea, and the promise of a less... complicated interaction.
How had he not seen it before? Jack's interest in him? Well, he had probably seen it, just chose to ignore it. And done a very, very good job at it, too. But this, on top of what he had learned about Rose, made for one very disgruntled Doctor.
He knocked on the door and stood miserably, waiting to be let in.
