Anakin arrived, Sam and Anna in tow and pulling a wagon with the fourteen presents Guru had bought and wrapped.

"Good Force help me, I did not think you would actually do this to me."

"BUT ANI WRAPPING GIFTS IS SO MUCH FUUUN!" he said, bouncing slightly.

Anakin sighed.

"Daddy, doesn't his daddy have space herpes?" Sam whispered, holding her present in her hand. Anna was gloomy and quiet next to them, holding a present as well.

Sam hoped she would cheer up at the party.

Anakin sighed again.

"That is not a real disease, dear heart. Wouldn't you like to pull the wagon?" he said, trying to mask the hopefulness in his voice.

CAL HAS A NEW FAVOURITE.

He grinned excitedly when he saw them and waved them towards the door.

"Hi, Mr Skywalker! Come in!"

Anakin sighed for a third time, allowing Anna and Sam to go in before him.

Guru jumped atop the pile.

"Ani just said 'get little Janson a present, take my credit-chip' but me and Sam and Patamon got you fourteen because I promised and Ani is the beeeeeeeeeest!"

"Thank you--! I don't remember your name."

... oh well, that wasn't as important as FOURTEEN PRESENTS. Cal grinned cheerfully at Guru (perhaps little talking animal things weren't all bad) and attempted to help pull the wagon towards the table where the rest of his presents had been deposited.

"I dunno 'bout the best," he added, "but I'm glad he didn't become an Ewok bonfire."

Guru's eyes widened, and he looked around nervously.

"Please don't set Ani on fire again," he begged, "that would upset him so much!"
